When will construction begin?
Answer: We officially broke ground this spring of 2011. Necessary infrastructure changes are being made in preparation for an additional 170 parking spaces. Since we kicked off our Expand campaign in 2010, the former water park has been demolished, making way for our new facility. In our first year of development, we have finalized the design of our new facility and received the necessary permits to begin construction. The way is clear to implement our plans.
When will the building be finished and ready to occupy?
Answer: We are actively believing God to provide funds as needed and without any unforeseen delays. We plan on holding our first services in the new facility sometime in the Spring of 2013.
How much will the building cost?
Answer: The projected cost of the building is approximately $9M. However, due to increasing costs of building materials, this number is expected to increase some over the next 2 years.
Are we going to borrow any of the funds needed?
Answer: Our goal and our faith are to believe God to raise the entire amount needed for construction through our current “EXPAND” stewardship campaign. Our intent is to build entirely with “cash”.
